In her heartfelt post, Sarah expressed her happiness and love for her new family, addressing her partner Diana and their son Laurie. She wrote, “What a week it’s been with this little boy! Welcome to the world Laurie 🙂 @dianamain_, you two are my world. So proud of you x.”

Sarah retired from international cricket in 2019 due to anxiety issues, marking the end of an illustrious career. She was an important part of the England Women’s Cricket Team. In her long cricketing career, she achieved remarkable milestones. She represented England in 126 ODIs and scored an impressive 4,056 runs, including 7 international Centuries and 20 fifties. 

She played 90 T20Is, scoring 2,177 runs. Sarah’s versatility as a wicketkeeper-batter was also remarkable; in her 10 Test matches, she showcased her batting powers, scored 330 runs, and played a crucial role in the victories of her side.

Beyond her individual accomplishments, Sarah played a vital role in England’s triumphs in the World Cup tournaments of 2009 and 2017. Her exceptional skills and dedication to the game earned her widespread admiration and respect from cricket fans all around the world.
