Pathum Nissanka Family 

Pathum Nissanka Family, He was born on May 18, 1998 in Galle, Sri Lanka. His father, Sunil Silva, worked as a ground boy and his mother, Chandrani Silva, sold flowers near the Kalutara temple. Pathum was raised in a poor family background.

Pathum Nissanka Family, His father was a big cricket fan and he encouraged his son to take up the sport from a young age. Pathum started playing cricket at the Kalutara Vidyalaya national school. He showed early promise and in 2016, he scored an unbeaten double century (205 runs off 190 balls) in a school cricket match. Pathum’s performances at school level caught the attention of the Sri Lanka Cricket authorities and he was selected to play for the Sri Lanka Under-19 team in 2017. He made his List A debut for Hambantota District in the 2016–17 Districts One Day Tournament and his first-class debut for the same team in the 2017–18 Premier League Tournament.

Pathum continued to impress in domestic cricket and he was selected to make his international debut for Sri Lanka in 2021. He has since established himself as a regular member of the Sri Lanka team and he is considered to be one of the most promising young batsmen in the world. Pathum’s family is very proud of his achievements and they have always been supportive of his cricket career. His father, Sunil, has said that he always dreamed of his son playing for Sri Lanka and he is now living his dream through Pathum. Pathum is a very humble and down-to-earth person. He is grateful for the opportunities that he has been given and he is determined to make the most of them. He is a role model for young cricketers in Sri Lanka and he is an inspiration to many.
