KL Rahul Family
KL Rahul Family, and he was born on April 18, 1992, in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. His father, K. N. Lokesh, is a professor and former director at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in Mangalore.
His mother, Rajeshwari, is a professor at Mangalore University. He has a younger sister named Bhavna. Rahul’s family is from the Lingayat community, which is a Hindu community found in Karnataka and other parts of India. They are a very religious family and have always emphasised the importance of education and hard work. Rahul’s father was a huge fan of cricketer Sunil Gavaskar and wanted to name his son after him.

However, he mistakenly thought that Gavaskar’s son’s name was Rahul, so he named his son Kannur Lokesh Rahul, which is often abbreviated as KL Rahul. KL Rahul grew up in a middle-class family and attended the NITK English Medium School and St. Aloysius College in Mangalore. He started playing cricket at a young age and quickly showed promise. He was selected for the Karnataka under-19 team and then the India team. In 2014, Rahul made his international debut for India in a One Day International (ODI) match against Zimbabwe. He has since gone on to represent India in all three formats of the game. He is a talented batsman who is known for his elegant strokeplay and his ability to score runs quickly. Rahul is a very popular cricketer in India and is considered to be one of the future stars of the team. He is also a very popular personality off the field and is known for his sense of humor and his charitable work. In January 2023, Rahul married his long-time girlfriend, Indian actress Athiya Shetty. The couple had a private wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Rahul is very proud of his family and his roots. He is always grateful for the support that they have given him throughout his career. He is also committed to giving back to his community and helping others.
