England Squad, Captain, Key Players, and Schedule for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has unveiled the highly anticipated squad for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, where 15 talented players will represent the national team. 

After their triumphant victory in the 2019 ICC World Cup, Team England is set to defend their title in the upcoming tournament. The tournament will take place in India and is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2023.

England have turned the tables after their dreadful 2015 ODI World Cup. They started to play an aggressive style of cricket from the very first ball and it help their cause very much. England qualified for the finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016, and the semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, winning the ICC ODI World Cup in 2019 and also winning the Final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Their new brand of cricket is known as BazBall under the mentorship of former New Zealand aggressive batter Brendon McCullum

England Team Captain:

Jos Buttler has been assigned the prestigious role of leading the England cricket team in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
